 2006年出生在上海，名為McCotton- 意為棉花棉織品的後代。
中文Logo “忒” ，北京話裏面“非常，特別”的意思。
所有布料為60盎司重量的麻布材料，環保，厚實並且耐髒。

很多年輕的設計師參與設計繪畫，所以這個品牌才給人感覺好可愛好新鮮，很不“中國”……（上海人都是群崇洋媚外的料）

2007年的時候很流行買麻布的環保袋，我還花了100多人民幣（可以喝4杯咖啡）去買了個Starbucks的Keep the earth Green環保袋……原本是那家店的非買品，結果被我硬買下來了。用我媽的話説就是滿眼睛裏面都是米袋——她覺得我買的都很像古代裝米的米袋。

在上海的街頭亂逛的時候，意外在一個小店發現了McCotton的包包們，店主還是一個年紀不小的阿姨，如果單看店和那個阿姨，我可能不會進去這個店買東西，但是看到這些包包的圖案，真的太可愛，我就馬上買了。後來又相繼買了幾個在出差的時候送給朋友們。
